David Haye is speaking out about the deal he was forced to take in order to secure a shot at WBO/IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko on June 20. As reported before, Haye had to agree to a three-fight Klitschko deal. Should he beat Wladimir, the next fight would be a rematch or a bout with WBC champion Vitali Klitschko. And if he beats Vitali, then it's another Klitschko rematch [with Vitali or Wladimir].

He claims that K2, the company owned by the Klitschkos, refused to close the deal unless he agreed to the three fight deal.

"I've got to fight three Klitschkos," Haye told Setanta Sports. "Maybe they've got an uncle who does a bit of boxing and their Dad did a bit back in the day! So three Klitschkos in whatever order they choose. You should've seen what they tried to make me agree to before. That was a massive compromise as it was a joke what they were trying to make me agree.

"If you think that's ridiculous, you would crack up at what they wanted me to sign before. It clearly showed me the mentality of the Klitschkos and how much wusses they are. They're not real champions - they try to manufacture things and are not warriors. They don't believe they are the best out there. If they thought they'd beat me then why make me sign these stupid contracts? That was a deal breaker. If I didn't sign it, the fight wouldn't be happening. You've got to bend sometimes and I did, right at the end of the day.

The deal has made Haye an angry man. He promises to punish both brothers.

"One I knock Wladimir out, he won't want to go near me in a million years and Vitali, once I knock him out, and it's going to take a lot to knock him out, that's it, he's finished. So I don't think I'll have a third fight unless they wheel out one of the uncles. It's a joke. It was like a hidden camera show. I've never heard of it in boxing history but if it's the only way these chumps will get in a ring with me, it's what I've got to do," Haye said.

As far as Povetkin, Haye says the IBF mandatory will have to wait a long time to get his shot at the title.

"Any rematch with Wladimir would possibly be six months later," Haye explained. Then after that, I'd fight Vitali after another six months. After that, in the middle of next year, I'll finish this current contract I'm under so, if Povetkin is still in a good position then, he'd be at the top of the list of fighters I'll be looking to fight."
