| Sturm vs. Sato Set For April 25 in Krefeld, Germany
|
|
By Mark Vester There won't be any fight with mandatory Anthony Mundine just yet. Universum has announced that WBA middleweight champion Felix Sturm (31-2, 13KOs) will make a defense of his title on April 25 against undefeated Koji Sato (14-0, 13 KOs) of Japan. The fight will take place at KoenigPALAST in Krefeld, Germany. Sato made his pro debut in Las Vegas, but fought every other bout in his native Japan. He is overmatched in terms of experience, but has a puncher's chance against Sturm. He knocked out every opponent other than Kintaro Okadayama in 2006, who last for a full four rounds. By the way, Abraham picked a tough Philadelphia fighter, a better voluntary defense than Sturm.[/QUOTE]
