Jorge Arce (50-4, 38KOs) will defend his interim WBA super flyweight title against Isidro "El Chino" Garcia (25-8, 15KOs) at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. The fight will take place on the undercard to Top Rank's pay-per-view with the rematch bewteen Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and Matt Vanda on top.
Garcia has fought and lost to a variety of top fighters, including Abner Mares and Fernando Montiel. He is also a former WBO and IBA flyweight champion. Arce is coming off his recent hard-fought win over Rafael Concepcion. Arce's promoter, Bob Arum, has marked ticket prices low to bring in a decent crowd.
"We want people to come to Las Vegas and see a great night of boxing without having to pay a very high price. They are four thousand tickets that cost $100 dollars and almost the same amount going for $50 dollars," Arum told ESTO.
