Eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao has not scored a knockout inside distance since scoring a twelfth round stoppage of Miguel Cotto, a catch-weight of 145, in the fall of 2009.

Since then Pacquiao has had ten fights. He picked up seven decision wins, lost two decisions to Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Timothy Bradley and got knocked out in six by Juan Manuel Marquez.

On April 9th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, the Filipino star will face Bradley for a third time. Bradley won a controversial decision over Pacquiao in 2012. Pacquiao got revenge with a decision win in their 2014 rematch.

The lack of knockouts have made many people question his punching power and whether or not he is still the same aggressive fighter who piled up a lot of stoppage victories during his hot streak of wins.

Pacquiao says it all comes down to size. It's harder for him to stop opponents at welterweight, because he can easily drop down to the junior welterweight limit and he believes that he's even capable of making the lightweight limit of 135.

''It is harder to knock out opponents in the 147-pound division. Because, in fact, my natural weight is 140 pounds and if I demand a little more of myself - I can get down to 135," said Pacquiao to ESPN Deportes.

Pacquiao claims the trilogy fight will be the final bout of his pro career. He wants to retire and pursue a full-time career in politics. He is currently running for a senate seat back home in the Philippines. Meanwhile, his promoter Bob Arum of Top Rank, and longtime trainer Freddie Roach, expect Pacquiao to continue his boxing career with more fights in the near future.
