Filipino Johnreil Casimero (21-3, 13KOs) will get the opportunity to put himself in line for revenge, as the IBF has placed him in position for a final eliminator.

BoxingScene.com has been advised that the sanctioning body has ordered Casimero to face McWilliams Arroyo of Puerto Rico for a mandatory shot at IBF champion Amnat Ruenroeng.

Late last month, Casimero traveled to Thailand and lost a twelve round decision to Ruenroeng in one of the dirtiest fights in recent memory. The referee of the contest, Larry Doggett, was highly criticized for allowing the champion to get away with multiple fouls and infractions.

Arroyo (16-2, 14KOs) faced the champion last year, also in Thailand. He scored a knockdown in a the sixth round and went on to lose a razor close twelve round split decision. Arroyo and his entire team protested afterwards, believing they were robbed on the cards.

McWilliams' twin brother, McJoe Arroyo (16-0, 8 KOs), returns on Saturday night in Texas when he takes on Arthur Villanueva (27-0, 14 KOs) of the Philippines for the IBF junior bantamweight world championship in a Showtime televised co-feature.
