At the Grand Elysee Hotel in Hamburg, Germany, a final press conference was held for Saturday's showdown between WBA/IBF/IBO/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (62-3, 53 KOs) and undefeated mandatory IBF challenger Kubrat Pulev (20-0, 11 KOs). The fight will be carried live by HBO and takes place at the O2 World arena in Hamburg, Germany.

Pulev and his team were not present at the conference. According to Sauerland Event, who promote Pulev, the Bulgarian's team were denied entrance to the press conference.

On their end, K2 Promotions claims that they told Sauerland ahead of time that only "three members" of Pulev's team were allowed. Pulev apparently showed up with a larger entourage of people and an argument broke out over who would be allowed entrance. Pulev told them that either all of his people would be allowed in or none of them would come in, so K2 denied entrance to the entire team.
