Jupiters Hotel & Casino, Broadbeach, Queensland, Australia - Rohan Murdock started fast, dropping former world champion Manny Siaca (25-8, 20KOs) in the first round and then wearing him down until Siaca would not come out for the seventh round. Siaca gave no specific reason as to why he was unable to continue and Murdock was declared the winner by technical knockout and awarded the WBO Asia Pacific super middleweight championship.

It was the first fight of the year for Siaca and his first loss since getting stopped in three rounds by then IBO cruiserweight champion Danny Green in April of 2010. Rohan (16-1, 13KOs) has been on a roll since losing a four round majority decision in June of 2011, winning 14 in a row. He will return next on December 13th at the Matrix Boxing Gym in Southport.
