Former cruiserweight champion Jean-Marc Mormeck (37-5, 23 KOs) will likely be the next opponent of Polish contender Mateusz Masternak (33-2, 24 KOs). The fight will take place at the end of this or early next year in Germany.

The 42-year-old Frenchman was at one time considered of the best boxers at cruiserweight and held the WBC/WBA titles. Eventually he moved up to heavyweight and was demolished by Wladimir Klitschko in four rounds. After more than two years away from the ring, Mormeck returned to action this past June and got a TKO win over Tamas Lodi.

Masternak, now trained by German coach Ullie Wegner, was in action in September and stopped Ben Nsafoah in four.
