Puerto Rican junior welterweight contender Thomas Dulorme has returned to the gum after taking two weeks off to mourn the pass of his mother. Dulorme plans to fight in August, potentially for a regional title and then aims to return on a date in November, hopefully in a world title fight. To prepare for the fight in August, Dulorme (21-1, 14 KOs) will be returning to Los Angeles to train with veteran coach Robert Garcia and conditioning trainer Alex Ariza at their Oxnard gym.

"We are planning to return to the ring in August. Two weeks ago I lost my mother and I am now returning to boxing. The bout will be a ten or twelve rounder. I think this fight will be something that brings me more of a ranking. And I think that [title] fight will be in November. I think there is a 60% chance [of that happening] but boxing nothing is written [in stone]. We wanted a fight with Ruslan Provodnikov, but Freddie Roach did not want the fight and chose someone else. But we're continuing to work," Dulorme said.
