A pair of intriguing bouts top the October 27 show planned at Club Sportlife in Kiev, Ukraine.

In the main event, unbeaten contender Victor Postol (19-0, 9 KOs) will defend his WBC Silver International light welterweight title against DeMarcus Corley (39-19-1, 23 Kos).

Postol fights for the fourth time in 2012, with all of his bouts staged at the very venue hosting his next contest.

The 38-year old Corley has won two straight – including an upset win over Paul McCloskey - heading into a bout with an opponent 10 years his junior. The fight marks his returns to the Ukraine for the first time since dropping a 12-round decision to Sergey Fedchenko, who went on to lose a title fight to Juan Manuel Marquez earlier this year.

On the same bill, Dmytro Kucher (18-0, 14 KOs) is scheduled to defend the same version of the title at cruiser weight against another former champ Steve Herelius (21-2-1, 12 KOs) of France.

Kucher – like Postol – is a familiar face at Club Sportlife. This weekend marks his fifth appearance at the venue in 2012. This particular showdown is a step up, even with Herelius having not fought since a failed title bid against Yoan Pablo Hernandez in Feb. ’11.

Elite Boxing Promotions stages the show.
