Promoter Frank Maloney believes fans will be given a "fight to remember" when David Price goes head-to-head with Sam Sexton.

The heavyweights clash at Aintree Racecourse on Saturday with the vacant British and Commonwealth heavyweight title up for grabs.

Maloney was far from impressed that Tyson Fury preferred to dump the titles rather than face Olympic bronze medallist Price.

British boxing has been in the headlines for the wrong reasons following Dereck Chisora and David Haye's antics in Germany and Maloney has been pleased with the pre-fight respect shown by Price and Sexton.

"Thankfully David and Sam are both gentlemen and will give fans a fight to remember," commented Maloney.

"There has been no trash talking and whoever wins will be proud to call themselves British and Commonwealth champion.

"Fury tried to lessen the title by refusing to face David. Chisora and Haye have brought bad publicity to the sport.

"Obviously I am backing David to win, but Sam is a very good fighter and been a delight to work with during the build-up."
