WBO cruiserweight champion Marco Huck (34-1, 25KOs) will receive some quality sparring for his heavyweight challenge on February 25th in Stuttgart, Germany. Huck will face WBA "regular" champion Alexander Povetkin (23-0, 16KOs).

To prepare for this challenge, Huck made a request for two sparring partners, both former heavyweight champions, David Haye and Evander Holyfield.

According to Huck, former four-time heavyweight champion Holyfield has agreed to spar with him. Huck's promoter, Kalle Sauerland of Sauerland Event, is still trying to secure Haye.

"Sparring will begin in two weeks. The [sparring partners] are being organized by Kalle Sauerland. We already know that Holyfield will be my sparring partner. And the talks with David Haye are continuing. The fact that Holyfield - a living legend, will come and spar with me is a great honor," Huck said.
