Pepsi Coliseum, Quebec City - Junior welterweight contender Pier Olivier Cote (18-0, 12KOs) drilled Jorge Teron (25-3-1, 17KOs) in two rounds to capture the vacant IBF Inter-Continental title.

In blazing start, Cote stunned Teron twice in the first round, but near the end he left himself open to a counter and nearly got dropped when Teron got him on the chin. At the start of the second, Cote dropped Teron hard with a huge accurate bomb on the chin. A moment later, Cote decked Teron with a massive hook that sent him down and out on his back.

On The Undercard

Welterweight contender Kevin Bizier (16-0 12KOs) knocked out Christian Bladt (38-13) in the third round with a vicious left hand.

Former super bantamweight champion Steve Molitor (34-2 12KO) won a hard fought split decision over Sebastien Gauthier (21-3 13KO). The scores saw two cards of 96-95 for Molitor and 96-94 for Gauthier.

Super featherweight Rances Barthelemy (14-0, 11KOs) stopped Alejandro Barrera (21-10) in two rounds.
