WBC/WBO/WBA welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (48-0, 26KOs) is still maintaining that his upcoming fight, on September 12th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, will be his final ring appearance.

Mayweather claims the two opponents in the running, although very few believe him, are Andre Berto and Karim Mayfield.

"I'm almost at the big 4-0, I'm getting close [to 40-years-old]. I don't need 50, I'm okay with 49," Mayweather said.

And most don't believe Mayweather will call it a career in September. If he does fight again, fight number 50 would be the expected end-game to his career - in May of 2016.

Mayweather was back in action last month, winning a twelve round unanimous decision over Manny Pacquiao in a fight that broke every possible financial record in boxing.
