Shane Mosley, while training with champion Ivan Calderon in Puerto Rico, told media outlet sportsya that he predicts an Oscar De La Hoya knockout on May 5.

It appears that Mosley is not looking for De La Hoya to decision Floyd Mayweather Jr when the two fighters collide in Las Vegas. Based on his comments, he appears to state that De La Hoya's chances of winning are based on his ability to knock Floyd out, and not by winning a twelve-round decision.

"If Oscar wins, he'll do it by knockout," Mosley said.

In the mix for big fights himself, Mosely is gunning for several big names in the welterweight division.

"My aim right now is to keep on winning and facing boxer such as Miguel Cotto, Kermit Cintron, (Antonio) Margarito, and definitely Floyd (Mayweather). There are many boxers on target," Mosley said.
