BoxingScene.com recently caught up with former four division champion Nonito Donaire who returns to the ring on November 9th against Vic Darchinyan.  The fight will be televised by HBO as part of a tripleheader.

The 30-year-old Donaire's fight against Darchinyan will be his first in the featherweight division.  He said that having the extra four pounds to work with will make a big difference.

"Training camp is going great.  It is a lot easier to make weight.  I feel comfortable at 126," Donaire stated.

Donaire had a busy 2012, fighting four times and winning Fighter of the Year awards from various media outlets in the process.  The Filipino Flash took time off this year shortly after the birth of his first child and will only fight twice this year.  He plans on being more active in 2014.

"We already have mapped out the plan.  Next year the plan is to fight three times," Donaire told BoxingScene.com.
