Top Rank promoter Bob Arum appeared a little peeved over the back-and-forth exchange between the camps of WBO super bantamweight champion Nonito “The Filipino Flash” Donaire and WBA champion Guillermo Rigondeaux.

Despite Donaire’s threat to ask Top Rank and HBO Sports to look for a replacement after he claimed the two-time Cuban Olympic gold medalist was ducking the random drug tests earlier agreed upon by not providing the Volunteer Anti Doping Association with his location or telephone number where he could be contacted, Arum told BoxingScene.com/Manila Standard - “it will all get straightened out.”

The fight is scheduled to take place at the Radio City Music Hall in New York on April 13th and will be telecast in the Philippines on ABS-CBN Channel 2 on April 14 at 10:15 a.m...

Arum said he had “no idea” about what’s going on pointing out that Rigondeaux “signed the application (for drug testing) in front of me but now they say he’s not given them addresses.”

Showing his irritation Arum told us “these people are crazy.”

On Floyd Mayweather’s remarks that he would consider fighting Manny Pacquiao should the Filipino boxing hero avenge his losses to Timothy Bradley and Juan Manuel Marquez  last year Arum told us “just forget him (Mayweather).”

Arum said He will meet with Marquez on Tuesday night over dinner and then “we’ll know where we are” although he had earlier sounded confident about making a fifth fight sometime in September.

He said Pacquiao’s adviser Michael Koncz is in the US “but won’t be in the meeting.”
