Hall of Fame trainer Ignacio "Nacho" Beristain, the lifetime coach of former four division world champion Juan Manuel Marquez, admitted he was shocked by his boxer's one-punch knockout victory of Manny Pacquiao on Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Marquez dropped Pacquiao in the third round, but saw himself suffer a knockdown in the fifth. With less than a few seconds left in the sixth, Pacquiao walked right into a short right hand by Marquez. The punch knocked Pacquiao out cold and gave Marquez his first win over the Filipino superstar in four fights.

"I never thought that Juan could knock out Pacquiao. Juan is not a [power puncher]. He is a very precise fighter, and hits hard but not violently. He gets you with three shots in a row at the tip of the chin and he hurts you, but not like [what happened with the punch that hit Pacquiao]. What happened was a phenomenon," Nacho said.

"I'm happy because I had a desire to see Pacquiao on canvas, because the truth is we already won three times. It's like I'm dreaming right now."
