Adrien Broner (25-0, 21KOs) put on a spectacular performance on Saturday night at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. He dominated his Antonio DeMarco for eight rounds, unleashing a one-sided beating before the fight was stopped by DeMarco's corner. Broner captured the WBC lightweight crown, which also made him a two-division champion.

Most insiders considered DeMarco as the number one lightweight in the division. Broner advised BoxingScene.com that he plans to stick around at 135-pounds for a few potential options. One option is Juan Manuel Marquez (54-6-1, 39KOs), who faces Manny Pacquiao in a fourth bout on December 8th. Broner feels Marquez is still capable of making 135-pounds. And option that Broner would consider is WBO champion Ricky Burns (35-2, 10KOs), but Broner is not going to fight him in the UK.

"Marquez and Manny Pacquiao have a fight. Marquez can still make 135, so we're going to see what happens with that fight, but for the most part we're going to go back to the drawing board with Al Haymon and Golden Boy Promotions. There are more big fights. Ricky Burns is one. He has a great following. He is another world champion, a world class fighter. We can make a big fight in Las Vegas or wherever but we're not going over there [to the UK]. We're in no hurry to jump [to another division]. This isn't Frogger. We're going to take our time crossing the street," Broner told BoxingScene.com.
