Manny Pacquiao's recent comments regarding a potential fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. are not bringing the two sides any closer to making it happen. During two separate interviews with ESPN, Pacquiao said that he would agree to a deal where Mayweather receives the bigger piece of the money - a 55-45 split - and he would also agree to Mayweather's demand for a random drug testing protocol.

Mayweather's adviser, Leonard Ellerbe, told the Los Angeles Times that Pacquiao has no say in the terms. Likely, the unbeaten boxer will demand at least a 60-40 split - if not more - based on their recent pay-per-view numbers.

“Manny Pacquiao can’t tell Floyd Mayweather sh*t. If and when the fight takes place, Floyd will dictate the terms," Ellerbe told the paper.

Ellerbe also said Pacquiao's fourth fight with Juan Manuel Marquez, set for December 8th, is a match “that, in my opinion, no one cares about.” He felt Pacquiao's televised mentions of Mayweather, during the Marquez promotional tour, was an “amateurish" tactic to promote the fourth fight.
