The Sept. 13 card featuring a main event of Jessie Vargas vs. Aaron Martinez had a total attendance of 963, with 428 tickets sold and 535 tickets given away for free, according to figures provided by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

A total of 569 tickets went unsold. The six-fight card, held at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and broadcast on ESPN2, brought in a total gate of $16,513.

This was a rare Thursday night show preceding a major fight. With the two major cards in Las Vegas on Sept. 15, that meant that the commission would also be working both weigh-ins on Sept. 14. That meant Top Rank held its show on the Thursday before Sergio Martinez vs. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., rather than on Friday.

Vargas topped Martinez via unanimous decision. The victory brought his record to 20-0 with 9 knockouts, while Martinez dropped to 18-2-1 with 4 knockouts.
