Rugged junior middleweight contender Ishe Smith (22-5, 10KOs) has been used in the past as a sparring partner for Floyd Mayweather Jr. Smith often hangs around the Mayweather Gym in Las Vegas. Mayweather is currently training for a May 5th showdown with WBA 154-pound champion Miguel Cotto.

While he's not being used for Mayweather's ongoing camp, Smith disclosed an interesting piece of information - that Mayweather gave unbeaten prospect Omar Henry (11-0, 9KOs) such a beating during a sparring session, that he nearly knocked the boxer out.

Smith is no fan of Henry, as the two have exchanged harsh words on the social networks. He wasn't exactly upset regarding Henry's gym beating.

"I have been in Mayweather's gym and witnessed great work. He will be beyond ready for Cotto. And Yes Henry is a bum. Omar was damned near knocked out, I'm not the only one who thinks he's a bum, most [of] the fighters in that gym say he's garbage," Smith disclosed.

"Six weeks out and Floyd looks like he could fight this weekend, no bullsh*t. I can't imagine how he will look next month. I don't believe there is anyone from 160 down to 147 that can beat Mayweather, I truly believe that, [and that] includes [Sergio] Martinez."
