Vladimir Hryunov, manager of WBA "regular" heavyweight champion Alexander Povetkin (24-0, 16KOs), would love to stage a huge Eastern Euro showdown between his boxer and WBA/IBF/IBO/WBO champion Wladimir Klitschko (56-3, 49KOs). Povetkin has to face mandatory challenger Hasim Rahman next, while Wladimir takes on Jean Marc Mormeck on Saturday in Dusseldor and then likely defends against IBF mandatory Tony Thompson in July.

"From a historical point of view, it would be fair to stage this fight in the capital city of modern Russia. A huge army of fans will express their interest in this event. We can stage the meeting in Kiev. I absolutely do not mind. Everyone [in Eastern Europe] is waiting for this fight. Alexander is afraid of nothing. I will say even more. The only motive on why he turned to professional boxing - is to face a Klitschko. He was driven by a desire to meet one of the brothers in battle and win. It is his goal," Hryunov said.
