Cuba's Guillermo “The Jackal” Rigondeaux accelerates his training at The Heavyweight Factory GYM in Hollywood, Florida. As usual, Rigondeaux was working hard with his physical conditioner DJ Montanocordoba and his trainer Ismael Salas.

After an interview with Mr. Ernesto Amador of ESPN 1210 AM, Rigondeaux stepped in the ring to continue his trainings, looking to be in the best condition possible for his next fight against the WBA super bantamweight champion Rico Ramos, scheduled for January 20th in Las Vegas. NV.

“We are ready to fight with anyone. The bases are fully covered and there isn’t anywhere to hide. After we beat Ramos, we want the best of our division."

The boxer's trainer Salas, and Rigo's physical conditioner, are confident that on January 20th the Cuban will conquer Ramos and take his title.

“We have nearly 6 weeks of work as a whole, and that has helped us very much and we must mention the discipline that Rigondeaux possesses is admirable and this is the best thing that can to a trainer happen,” said Salas

DJ Montanocordoba said to us “The work passes in normal fashion and in harmony. This is important to extract the best in every fighter. The Jackal is an exceptional athlete and it’s a pleasure for us to work with someone like Rigondeaux. The discipline is one of the best things that we can mention to describe an athlete with the dedication of the Cuban star.”
