MGM Grand, Las Vegas - A decent crowd of Mexican fans came to see WBA/WBO lightweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez (51-5-1, 37KOs) weigh in for Saturday's HBO televised title defense. Marquez came in at 134-pounds. The challenger, WBO interim-champ Michael Katsidis 27-2, 22KOs), came in at 135-pounds on the limit.

WBC welterweight champion Andre Berto (26-0, 20KOs) was ripped, coming in at 145-pounds, while challenger Freddy Hernandez (29-1, 20KOs) weighed in at the limit of 147-pounds.

In the televised super featherweight opener, Celestino Caballero (34-2, 23KOs) was over the weight limit, coming in at 131.5-pounds. Jason Litzau (27-2, 21KOs) came right at the limit, weighing 130-pounds on the nose. Caballero has one hour to lose the weight. Caballero came back an hour later and weighed in at 130-pounds.
