According to the Nevada Athletic Commission, WBA/WBO lightweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez will receive $1.4 million dollars for facing his mandatory challenger Michael Katsidis.  His Australian challenger is set to receive $530,000.  The championship bout is part of an HBO tripleheader that will be broadcast live from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, NV. Rounding out the televised portion of the card, Andre Berto defends his WBC welterweight title against Freddy Hernandez and Celestino Caballero moves up to the super featherweight division to face Jason Litzau.
