The name has been circulating for 24 hours on boxing forums finally proved to be right and American Purnell "Knock You Out" Gates (18-1-0) of Grandville, Michigan has been approved to face David Lemieux on December 3 at the Bell Centre for the second stanza in the series "Fast & Furious." Note that the fight is scheduled for 10 rounds at 163 lbs.  During his two most recent fights, David Lemieux blew out Elvin Ayala and Hector Camacho Jr. in the first round.

The fight between Lemieux and Gates will be the co-feature of the evening. The final will pit Sebastien Demers (31-3-0) against Renan St-Juste (21-2-1) in a battle for the NABO super middleweight title. Fans will have a second championship bout with Arash Usmanee (9-0-0) going for the NABA super featherweight title by going against Mexican Pedro Navarette (25-9-3).

As BoxingScene.com/Netboxe.com had announced as an exclusive a few days ago, Tony Luis (10-0-0) will face veteran Mexican fighter Aldo Valtierra (25-12-0). Finally, Kevin Lavallee (3-0-0), lightweight Ghislain Maduma (1-0-0), Ahmad Cheikh0 (4-2-2) and the Super Middleweight Sebastien Bouchard should complete the card by facing rivals to be confirmed.

While more than 2,000 spectators attended the first gala of the series "Fast & Furious" at the Bell Centre last October, an even larger crowd is expected this time.
