When they step in the ring on Saturday at Cowboys Stadium in Texas, it will be the thirteenth time that Manny Pacquiao has faced an opponent from Mexico. Pacquiao has gone 12-1 against Mexican opponents with only a single loss suffered by way of decision to Erik Morales in 2005. This time he will face Antonio Margarito at 150-pounds for the vacant WBC title at junior middleweight.

Margarito has set his goal on starting an early war. He wants to trade punches with Pacquiao and that is exactly what the Filipino boxer wants.

"That's the kind of fight I like. I like to make a good fight for the fans. Margarito throws a lot of punches, and I throw a lot of punches. This will be a good fight for the fans. I can promise that we will be throwing a lot of punches in the ring, but I don't think he will handle my speed," Pacquiao said.

Margarito has vowed to get revenge for Mexico. He refuses to become another victim on Pacquiao's record.

"This time I have no excuses. I will beat Pacquiao and Mexico will have a new world champion on Saturday. It's a battle of pride for me. A lot has been said by both of us and I'm ready to finish this fight with my arms raised. Most Mexicans will support me and I dedicate this fight to them," Margarito said.
