At the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, welterweight up and comer Sadam Ali (10-0, 6KOs) stopped Gary Bergeron (12-8, 7KOs) in two rounds.

Super featherweight contender Adrien Broner (18-0, 15 KOs) crushed Ilido Julio (40-20-1, 35 KOs) in the first round. Julio went down twice before the contest was stopped. 

Tyrone Luckey (2-0, 2KOs) put away Alex Monte (1-2) in the third round of their lightweight bout.

Lightweight prospect Michael Perez (10-0-1, 5KOs) stopped Hevinson Herrera (14-7) in the first round of their scheduled six.

Junior middleweight prospect Mikael Zewski (5-0, 3KOs) won a four round decision over Ardrick Butler (5-3). Zewski won all four rounds on each of the three scorecards. He returns on December 18 on the Bernard Hopkins-Jean Pascal bill in Canada.

Middleweight prospect Bastie Samir (6-0, 6KOs) continued his streak of knockouts with a first round pounding of Damien Reed (2-4). Samir will return next on the Juan Manuel Marquez-Michael Katsidis undercard on November 27 in Las Vegas.

Although he was promoted to be there, in support of his close friend Zab Judah, sources indicate that former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson did not show up to the event, and instead flew overseas to attend to some business.
