It looks like IBF middleweight final elimination between #1 of the ranks Roman “Made in hell” Karmazin (40-3-2, 26 KOs) of St. Petersburg, Russian, and #7 of the same chart Daniel Geale (23-1, 14 KOs) from Mt. Annan, Australia, is going to take place on Oct. 31 in Geale’s Homeland. Sydney is a preliminary host of the bout to determine Sebastian Sylvester’s mandatory challenger. Nothing has been officially set yet but both teams are very close to strike a deal.

“It will not be the first time I’m competing abroad”, said Karmazin to Allboxing’s Vladimir Begun Jr. “I understand that it’s Daniel’s backyard and I’m fighting in a hostile territory. But it’s not that important. In early 00’s I captured and defended my European crown in England (vs. David Walker), Spain (vs. Jorge Araujo) and Denmark (vs. Michael Rask). I’ve overwhelmed Kassim Ouma’s resistance to become a world champion in America and I’ve recently fought to a draw with the reigning champion (Sylvester) in Germany. Now Australia is coming my way. I’ll do my best to come out a winner from this one as well. I want to meet that German guy once again! The second time it’ll be a completely different fight”.
