WBA interim-super featherweight champion Jorge Solis (40-2, 29KOs) has said that he might get a shot at the full champion of the WBA, Japan's Takashi Uchiyama (15-0, 12KOs) in November. Solis just finished up a fight on Saturday in Mexico, stopping Francisco Cordero in six rounds. Uchiyama defends his title against Roy Mukhlis (23-2-2, 18KOs) on September 20 at Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. It will be the second defense for Uchiyama since winning the title from Juan Carlos Salgado in January.

"I'm ready to face the champion Takashi Uchiyama, and that fight could take place in November in Japan," Solis said.
