165 pounds / 75 kg (Middleweight) - Final:

Artem Chebotarev (RUS) - Darren O'Neill (IRL) - 16:7 (2;1, 6:3, 8:3). Chebotarev, boxing in purely professional manner, scored a knockdown in round three of one of the most exciting fights of the tournament.

178 pounds / 81 kg (Light Heavyweight) - Final:

Artur Beterbiyev (RUS) - Abdelkader Bouhenia (FRA) - RSC 1. Hard-hitting kayo artist Beterbiyev went right at his french foe and almost literally hammered him under the canvas. Bouhenia was issued with two standing eight counts before the contest was stopped on the second minute of the stanza. Score was 5:0 for the Russian but it didn't reflect an actual score; more appropriate result would have been 10:0 or 12:0. Beterbiyev stopped three of his four foes in the tournament.

201 pounds / 91 kg (Heavyweight) - Final:

Egor Mekhontsev (RUS) - Tervel Pulev (BUL) - 10:1 (0:1, 3;0, 7:0). Favorite Mekhontsev got untracked by Kubrat Pulev's younger brother before finally finding his rhythm in the second round. Pulev used some dirty tactics but Mekhontsev paid no attention to it and ultimately got the better of Bulgarian in the final round. Pulev was given a standing count in seconds before the bell.

201+ pounds / 91+ kg (Super Heavyweight) - Final:

Sergey Kuzmin (RUS) - Victor Zuyev (BLR) - 7:3 (0:2, 1:0, 6:1). Lighter, smaller Zuyev was slightly better for six minutes but being notably fatigued after two rounds was involved into a brawl with much heavier Kuzmin in the last stanza. Kuzmin became Russia's seventh gold medalist.
