WBO bantamweight champion Fernando "Cochulito" Montiel is training for the fight of his life. He told Japanese media members that he never trained this hard for any of previous fights. He takes on WBC champion Hozumi Hasegawa on April 30 at the legendary Budokan Hall in Japan.

Montiel is already training in Japan. To make sure his body is ready with plenty of stamina, Montiel began to take part in 15-round sparring sessions with very little rest between the rounds.

"This is going to be a very tough fight, but I can win it. I am ready for this. This fight will show that I am one of the best in the world. I will bring the title back to Mexico," Montiel said.
