Flyweight prospect Alonso "Finito" Lopez (8-0, 6KOs) has been added to the Jorge Arce vs. Cecilio Santos undercard, taking place on April 24 in Mexico. Alonso is the son of Mexican boxing legend Ricardo "Finito" Lopez. The 24-year-old prospect is trained by Nacho Beristain and promoted by Zanfer.

"I learn a lot training in a gym where great fighters are also under the instruction of Don Nacho Beristain. Little by little, fight after fight we forge our own history, although most of the public and the press are saying I fight a lot like my father," said Lopez.

Lopez gets a lot of advice and support from his father. He hopes to one day become another boxing great in the family.

"I feel the love from the fans and that motivates me. My dad is increasingly worried when I fight, but supports me and gives me advice before and after each match. I admire him very much and am proud of his accomplishments in the ring. I love the boxing technique which he applied," Lopez said.

"My dad did amazing things in boxing, has won its place super well, I'll make my own history in this sport and honoring the family name."
