Francisco Bojado (18-3, 12KOs) is talking like he wants to make a boxing comeback. At one time Bojado was a hot junior welterweight prospect from California with multiple televised appearances on HBO. He never lived up to his potential. After losing to James Leija in 2004, he walked away from boxing from until 2007 when he signed a contract with Golden Boy Promotions. He fought three times that year but lost a split decision to Steve Forbes and walked away from boxing again.

Three years have gone by and Bojado, still only 26-years-old, is looking to target Golden Boy's new junior welterweight prospect from California, Victor Ortiz.

"I think Victor Ortiz needs a real fight. I don't think he's fought anyone that's put him up to the level that he should be fighting at. I think they should put him up against me, have Oxnard and East LA come together and make a real fight. I'm the son of East LA and I'm the son of Mexico. I've been calling him out for a whole f**king year," Bojado told AOL's Fanhouse.
