At the Jahnsportforum in Neubrandenburg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany, heavyweight prospect Robert Helenius (11-0, 7 KOs) became a contender with a two-fisted pounding of former champion Lamon Brewster (35-6, 30 KOs). Helinius set the tempo with his hard shots in the first round and established his position in the second when he caught Brewster with a hard bodyshot to put him down. Helenius was in full control of the fight. He closed the show in the eight when he continued to pound Brewster for the stoppage. Brewster is near the end of the road after this loss.

Other notable results saw light heavyweight prospect Karo Murat (21-0, 13 KOs) put away Sean Corbin (13-2, 9 KOs) in the second round. And heavyweight prospect Kubrat Pulev (5-0, 3 KOs) continued to look very impressive by stopping British veteran Matt Skelton (22-5, 19KOs) in four rounds. At 43-years-old, Skelton should consider walking away.
