The latest BBBoC championship circular saw Tyson Fury and John McDermott’s proposed rematch upgraded into an eliminator for the British title currently held by Danny Williams.  Fury defeated McDermott controversially last year after a tough ten round English title fight.  The rematch, in which the English title relinquished by Fury will also be on the line, should settle any disputes and will help shape the future of the wide-open domestic division.

In other news, Kell Brook’s on/off showdown with Michael Jennings has been removed from the BBBoC’s championship books; they have now mandated Brook versus John O’Donnell.
