Former three-divison champion Erik Morales has revealed that it's almost a lock for him to return to action in the month of August in Tijuana, Mexico. Morales has not fought since a decision loss to David Diaz in 2007. He returned to training camp last week and is preparing for a final run at a fourth world title in a fourth weight class.

"I was thinking about what month it would be better for me to return and and I think that August is a good month. The fight is almost set to take place at the  that will be at the Plaza de Toros in Tijuana," Morales told The Record.

Morales' last defeat, to Diaz, was a bit controversial. Many ringside observers felt that he won the fight. The loss still stings.

"I personally believe that I won that fight but there judges didn't and there went my opportunity. I feel good, there are bigger fighters who are out there and want me.  I broke away from boxing for a while and now I am back to work very hard," said Morales.
