If Floyd Mayweather Jr. wants a piece of Manny Pacquiao, the Filipino champion is ready for the fight. Pacquiao told DZBB radio that he wants to return in October or November and Mayweather is the likely opponent. Mayweather returns to the ring on July 18 against Pacquiao's rival, Juan Manuel Marquez. Most see Marquez as a very big underdog in the fight.

"My next fight will probably be in October or November," Pacquiao said. "I will probably fight Mayweather, but I am ready to fight whoever my promoters want me to face."

Pacquiao's promoter, Bob Arum, wants him to face another fighter in his stable, WBO welterweight champion Miguel Cotto, who faces Joshua Clottey on June 13 at New York's Madison Square Garden. Arum would like that fight to take place in November or December. Those plans could be derailed if Cotto loses. Cotto-Clottey is a much closer fight, on paper, than Mayweather-Marquez.
