Fresh from his dominating knockout of Antonio Margarito, the WBA welterweight champion, Shane Mosley, is looking for the biggest money fights he can land. The two fighters at the top of his target list are Manny Pacquiao, the number-one pound for pound fighter in the world, and Floyd Mayweather Jr. - the undefeated, but retired pound for pound king.

Richard Schaefer, CEO for Golden Boy Promotions [where Mosley is a partner], promised to begin talks with the Mayweather camp. So far Floyd has not shown any interest to return for a fight with Mosley. Pacquiao has a tough order on his hands when he takes on Ricky Hatton on May 2 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Pacquiao would have to win in order to set up a Mosley encounter.

If Ricky Hatton were to upset Pacquiao, Mosley would consider meeting him. Another option would be a rematch with Miguel Cotto.

"I would like to fight all of the top fighters. Mayweather is out there. If he wants to come out of retirement to fight again - I've been hearing rumors of that. Manny Pacquiao. Manny had a good outing against Oscar De La Hoya. Pacquiao or Ricky Hatton. Cotto is still there. I don't know if he wants to come back [in the ring with me]. I've been asking for a rematch. Maybe this the perfect time to do it," Mosley told sportscaster Brian Kenny.

But when it comes down to it, Pacquiao and Mayweather are the two that he wants most. He will only consider Hatton or Cotto if Mayweather and Pacquiao are both unavailable.

"I want the one with the most money. It's probably going to be Manny Pacquiao or Floyd Mayweather. Those would be the top two guys that I would want to pick first. Then you have Miguel Cotto and Ricky Hatton as well. I'm looking for the big fights, the ones that people want to see. This [Margarito] was a fight that people wanted to see and I want bring many more. The welterweight division is loaded," Mosley said.
