According to Setanta Sports, former champ Enzo Maccarinelli (29-2, 22KOs) will face interim-champ Victor Ramirez (14-1, 12KOs) for the vacant WBO title on March 14 at the MEN Arena in Manchester. The fight will take place on the undercard to Amir Khan-Marco Antonio Barrera.

Last week, Ramirez scored a huge upset by stopping previously undefeated Alexander Alexeev in nine rounds to win the interim title. Macca was going to fight Johnathon Banks, but that fell apart when Banks agreed to take on IBF champ Tomasz Adamek.

Promoter Frank Warren say 15,000 tickets have already been sold for the event. WBO super featherweight champion Nicky Cook will also see action on the card as he defends against unbeaten Roman Martinez, and Bradley Pryce will defend his Commonwealth light middleweight crown against Matthew Hall.
