Undisputed WBC/WBA/IBF super flyweight champion Vic Darchinyan is looking for much bigger game. After proving the critics wrong by knocking out Cristian Mijares last weekend in California to unify the titles at 115-pounds, he told BoxingScene.com's Ernest Gabion that he wanted bigger and tougher opponents, including a big jump in weight to fight WBC super bantamweight champion Israel Vazquez.

Before he goes after someone like Vazquez or even a Rafael Marquez, he would be willing to fight the only remaining champion at his weight, WBO belt holder Fernando Montiel of Mexico. Montiel may be the second best fighter at weight and hits a lot harder than Mijares or Dimitri Kirilov, with 28 of his 38 wins ending by knockout. The only two losses on Montiel's record were close decisions to former champions Jhonny Gonzalez and Mark Johnson.

"I want to call out whoever has belts in any weight division. Like, one, two or three weight divisions up. I like to fight for belts. I would love to fight Fernando Montiel, have all four belts and then move up for [Israel] Vazquez. Vazquez is a good fighter, and that's why I want to fight him," Darchinyan said.
