Former International Boxing Federation minimum weight champion Muhammad Rachman of Indonesia has won a ten round unanimous decision over talented Filipino youngster Edren Dapudong in his first comeback fight since losing the title to Florante Condes on July 7, 2007 in Jakarta.

Condes subsequently lost the title by a split decision earlier this month to Mexico ’s Raul “Rayito” Garcia in Garcia’s hometown of La Paz.

Rachman has been eager to get another crack at the world title and his win over Dapudong in the Trans 7 studio in Jakarta should help improve his rating. The 37 year old Rachman is currently rated No. 4 by the IBF.

With the win the Indonesian veteran moves to 62-6-5 with 31 knockouts while Dapudong reportedly drops to 12-1-1 with 6 knockouts.
