It was reported by WJRT that undefeated super middleweight Anthony Dirrell (12-0, 11KOs) has been arrested on suspicion of armed robbery by the Flint City police in Michigan. Dirrell is the brother of Andre Dirrell (13-0, 8KOs), another unbeaten super middleweight.

According to the report, a man with a gun walked in and robbed Franklin Bank on Monday at 10am. At around 3PM, police stopped a Doger Charger that matched the description of a vehicle that may have been involved in the armed robbery of the bank. 

Dirrell was driving the vehicle in question and taken to a Flint city lockup on on suspicion of armed robbery. A handgun was recovered inside the vehicle. So far, no charges have been filed in the case, but the Flint police chief says the case will go to the FBI.

Dirrell has not fought since 2006 due to a battle with Hodgkins lymphoma, a type of cancer. He was said to be recovering and on the verge of resuming what many saw as a bright career.
