New York - It was standing room only last night for Star Boxing's Bourbon Street boxing event in Chicago. The crowd was up on their feet the entire night with the room filled with enthusiastic fight fans.

The night got off to an exciting start when undefeated Jr. Welterweight prospect “The New” Ray Robinson (5-0) set the pace with a first round knockdown en route to a unanimous decision victory against 21 fight veteran Jason Jordan. All the scorecards were in favor of Robinson 40-34.

Jason Cintron (6-0-3KO's) the younger brother of World Champion Kermit won a split decision after going six grueling rounds with Damon Antonie (6-19-1 3KO's).

2004 Olympic team captain Devin Vargas (13-0 5KO's) went for gold pummeling tough veteran Josh Gutcher (18-7-5KO's) with power and speed. The undefeated heavyweight threw everything he had, mercilessly dismantling Gutcher when, the fight was stopped 1:38 into the fourth round, giving Devin a TKO victory.

Andy Lee (12-0 8KO's) scored a sensational opening round KO victory in the first round over James Morrow (11-7-2 5KO's) scheduled for eight rounds. Lee displayed tremendous punching power, putting Morrow down twice in the round and prompting referee Gerald Scott to call a halt to the proceedings at 2:43 of round one.

The featured fight of the night was a six round heavyweight match up between Malachy Farrell (16-1-12KO's) and the 7 foot tall Marselles Brown (25-17-1 12KO's). Farrell and Brown came out swinging from the start as both landed hard punches to the head and body in round one. In round two a cut was opened over the left eye of Farrell after a clash of heads. Both fighters continued to engage each other but Brown was issued repeated warnings from referee John O'Brien to stop shoving Farrell with his shoulder and pulling his head down with his forearms.

Round three saw the action continue between the two fighters and Brown was again warned by the referee to stop his illegal tactics. Brown lost his cool and engaged the referee in a heated argument which caused the referee to disqualify Brown and award Farrell with a third round disqualification win. In a scene fit for America's Funniest Videos,  Brown had to be pulled away from the referee by non other than the man he was fighting, Malachy Farrell!
