Promoter/rapper Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson said he "was bored" by Saturday's performance from WBO super featherweight champion Mikey Garcia (34-0, 28KOs), who won a twelve round unanimous decision over Juan Carlos Burgos at The Theater in New York's Madison Square Garden. 50 Cent sat at ringside, along with his fighter, Olympic gold medal winner Yuriorkis Gamboa (23-0, 16KOs), who wants to face Garcia next.
"I'm here to pick a fight. I make it hard for them. I make them uncomfortable. Mikey is a beautiful woman. She wore the blue trunks for us with the wings. We're ready to fight, we're ready to go to L.A. They may not be sure if they want him back on the network, because he just put us to sleep in here...don't forget that. Look at [Top Rank President] Todd [duBoef], look at Todd...he's sick to his stomach. [Garcia] is going to fight us now. We'll make it happen. We're going to L.A. [for that fight], I don't know why [Garcia] was [fighting] here tonight [in New York], 50 Cent told BoxingScene.com.
