50 Cent Has Big Things in Store For Luis Olivares

By Miguel Rivera, notifight.com

Promoter 50 Cent has big plans in store for Mexican-American boxer Luis Olivares. The junior welterweight prospect  made his pro debut on Friday night at Foxwoods Casino and scores a first round stoppage over Rafael Munoz. 50 Cent signed him to his promotional company SMS Promotions. The rapper said there were big plans ahead for Olivares.

Tony Gonzalez, the boxer's his agent and attorney, discussed the deal.

"I think the fact that 50 Cent is motivated to make his mark in boxing as a promoter, along with his popularity and being a worldwide celebrity, we reached an agreement. Luis is a super talent and is one of the chosen few who is promoted by Mr. Jackson (50 Cent) and the truth being this is a tremendous opportunity for Luis, who not only will make a mark as a boxer, but also as a public figure, standing alongside 50."

"I'm very proud of Luis, and he had lot of pressure to show his quality by making his professional debut on ESPN and in front of 50, because he did not want to fail. Instead he only excelled and definitely made tremendous first impression, with his fight and how he got the win. 50 joined me last night in his hotel room and he wants to make a fight for him in two weeks, to keep him busy."

50's memory must be bad. He forgot what happened with Billy Dibb already.

50 can't find any fights for Gamboa and Dirrell. Gamboa made a huge mistake signing with 50.
